Just had the most amazing 2 days on Kauai...no phone or camera of course. Caught a little south at Pakalas and ate some poke and ocean salad from Ishihara Market in Waimea. Definitely go here after a long Pakala or Targets sesh...their bentos and poke are legit!
Spent the evening driving around Koloa then stayed in Poipu at the Sheraton. This is officially the best place ever to relax. The drive into Koloa/Poipu is beautiful....Koloa Road is lined with twisted trees that fence in acres of farmland against rolling hills then green mountains. Friday nights are Matty & Flash's 'Release' at The Point inside the hotel.
Slept in then drove all the way up to Hanalei through little farms, lo'i, and a billion waterfalls to surf some north.....had an awesome sandwich at the Deli & Bread Connection in Kukui Grove in Lihue before heading to the airport....Oh. And got stuck at the terminal for 5 hours. Haha
