CATCH UP

It's catch up on the blog day. April has been crazy, starting with my best friend visiting from LA. We took a total of 0 pictures to document the fun. But I managed to snap a few in LA shortly after....



A beautiful day in Hollywood.



Bamboozle Left in Irvine was pretty fun. The Get Up Kids and Fall Out Boy played back to back to close the first night. Very different performances but both really great. The stages were set outside in the parking lot of a waterpark or something, which usually makes for a too-loud and extremely disconnected performance, but the GUK set was as intimate as their old shows in small clubs. This was the best kept secret of the weekend. To a crowd full of mellow industry people, other bands, and old school fans, the GUK set was a nostalgic and real moment in a weekend of dance pop, flourescent merch, and Wonka candy. It was a lot cooler than this picture may lead you to believe.

Oh yeah, and it was my birthday.
